Why You'll Love It
Original watercolor painting of Lily Pond captures my favorite vantage point in the Asticou Azalea Garden in Northeast Harbor, Maine, where a gently winding path leads through lush greens and pops of pink to the quiet pond beyond.
Go slowly through this garden because there is something to enjoy at every turn. This is the smaller, shadier pond, and the stillness here is something special. This painting was done at the same time as my Japanese Lantern watercolor, looking down the same path in the opposite direction. The beautiful pink azalea ties them together beautifully and the two paintings look wonderful as a pair.
This original watercolor is a wonderful way to bring peace and tranquility into your home. The lush textures and colors are very inviting.
