Bass Harbor Light is one of Acadia's most beloved landmarks, but this view is only visible from a boat. My favorite detail is the shimmery reflections on the water -- genuinely fun to paint, and the first thing people notice. This painting was created as a companion to Bass Harbor Light, Right, and the two display beautifully together.
