Why You'll Love It
Watercolor print of Prospect Harbor Light captures the beautiful lighthouse cove at high tide with waves pounding the rocky shore, open sea beyond. My original painting was inspired by this particular angle of the keeper's house, Gull Cottage, with Prospect Harbor Point in view.
Prospect Harbor and Corea are perfect fishing villages, part of the Schoodic National Scenic Byway. This is one of the most gorgeous stretches of coast in all of Maine (and definitely less-traveled). I recommend following the Loop Road through the Schoodic portion of Acadia National Park. Then take a right toward Prospect Harbor and Corea. You'll find one stunning view after another. The lighthouse is closed to the public, but you can see it from a distance.
Prospect Harbor Light prints pair beautifully with other Acadia and Schoodic area prints for a conversational gallery wall.
