Why You'll Love It
This colorful watercolor print of Pemaquid Fog House captures the striking red brick fog house and bell tower at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in Bristol, Maine.
For my original reference photo, I was standing on the long white rock that runs from the fog house down to the very tip of the point. I wanted to feature the fog house and capture that feeling of being high above the rocks and surf on a perfect summer day. I love how it turned out. The red, white, and blue colors look sensational together, creating a patriotic feeling.
Bristol is one of my favorite places to spend a summer afternoon with a picnic lunch, watching sailboats pass and gazing out toward Monhegan. There are wonderful places to hike and explore.
Prints of Pemaquid Fog House pair beautifully with my Pemaquid Sparkles and Whitehead (Monhegan) prints. Perfect gift to remember a family vacation to Maine.
