I make a point to explore this part of Maine when the leaves are still golden and lush, and the swamp maples along the shore are popping red. Hemlock Bridge sits in Maine's Lakes and Mountains region, not far from Kezar Lake and just across the border from New Hampshire. It's such a beautiful, unhurried corner of the state.
