Original watercolor painting of Cottage on Vinalhaven was inspired by a visit to the island in mid-June, when the lupine were in full bloom.
This charming cottage enjoys a perfect view of the busy harbor, with fishing boats coming and going all day. It even has its own sandy beach for wading and beachcombing. The sparkling water looks so warm and inviting. Vinalhaven is full of wonderful summer cottages, but this one really stopped me in my tracks.
