My original painting was inspired by the view along Fish Creek Road in Deer Isle, looking out toward Reach Beach. If the name rings a bell, think of Dan Fogelberg's wonderful song (he was an avid sailor). It's a beautiful view any time of year, but when the lupine and other wildflowers are blooming, wow! Nothing says summer in Maine quite like this combination of colors along the water.
