Why You'll Love It
Watercolor print of Morse Mountain View captures the gorgeous panorama from the summit of Morse Mountain in Phippsburg, Maine, at the height of summer, looking out over the salt marshes and coastline of the Bates-Morse Mountain Conservation Area.
The trail is a road accessible only by foot, and the reward at the top is one of the best views in Midcoast Maine. Continue about 2 miles and you reach pristine Seawall Beach with views of Seguin Lighthouse in the distance. When I took my reference photo, we watched several pairs of bald eagles and herons flying below us over the salt marshes. It was one of those moments that stays with you forever. Piping plovers and least terns nest on the beach, so give them plenty of space if you overlap.
A thoughtful gift for anyone who loves hiking and discovering hidden gems on the Maine coast. I recommend pairing with other Midcoast and Phippsburg area prints for a gorgeous gallery wall collection.
