Watercolor print of Shore Path, Bar Harbor captures the romantic seaside walking path that hugs the shore in Bar Harbor, Maine. This bend is right beside the Bar Harbor Inn, near the beginning of the walk. Lovely roses and birch trees form a natural arbor as you pass through. In fact, they were the inspiration for my original watercolor painting!
The Shore Path is probably my favorite place in the village. It's not exactly a hidden gem, but it's so special and scenic, and it really stays with you. It's especially wonderful first thing in the morning before the village and harbor wake up. Shore Path winds along the ocean's edge past some of Bar Harbor's most beautiful historic inns and properties.
Many couples tell me they were engaged at this very spot on the Shore Path. It's been part of many wedding registries (wow!). Fine art prints are a wonderful way to remember a special vacation, a romantic getaway, or a wonderful moment that changed their lives forever.
