Why You'll Love It
Watercolor print of Giant Stairs Path captures the scenic coastal walk on Bailey Island in Harpswell, Maine, on a sunny late summer day when Queen Anne's Lace and rose hips bloom together along the path.
The path follows the rocky shore past beautiful seaside cottages and out toward the open ocean. There are no signs on the main road, but everyone has been there. About halfway along, the Giant Stairs themselves drop down into the sea in a series of massive rock steps. My painting Giant Stairs Surf shows the view looking down over those steps as a wave crashes in.
A wonderful gift for anyone who loves Bailey Island or the rocky coast of Harpswell. Pair with other  Harpswell and Midcoast Maine prints for a nostalgic gallery wall.
