Salsbury Cove is just outside Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. This view is from across the road on Norway Drive, looking through the pasture. The snow drifts hide the road completely and makes the barn and pasture feel like one seamless winter world. I've painted the Stone Barn a number of times and this winter view is a favorite.
