Why You'll Love It
Watercolor print of Gilsland Farm Lupine captures the gorgeous purple lupine growing in the community garden at the top of the hill at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, Maine, with the North Meadow and Presumpscot River estuary beyond.
Lupine is my favorite wildflower, and the garden at Gilsland Farm is exquisite in June. Gilsland Farm is the headquarters for Maine Audubon, and the trails winding around the preserve follow the Presumpscot River estuary where you often spot snowy egrets, great blue herons, osprey, and even eagles. It's a true oasis just outside of Portland.
A fine art print would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves early morning walks at the preserve or the wildflowers of coastal Maine. My prints Gilsland Farm Pond and North Meadow show more lovely views of the same preserve.
