Believe it or not, they are even brighter in my reference photo than I painted them. I was joined by a local cat who sat with me watching the waves crash. Excellent company!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Giant Stairs get their name from the massive rock steps that descend into the sea, and this is one of the best spots on the Maine coast to watch dramatic surf at high tide.
